Will your wedding video be seen on national television?
Will your wedding video be seen on national television?
It is unlikely that your wedding video will appear on national television, but you never know. I was contacted by ABC's "America's Funniest Home Videos" for a scene from a wedding video that I posted on youtube.
Let me set it up for you. The groom got the idea that he would take off his tux shirt and dive head first across the floor to take off the garter belt of his bride. As you will see... not the best of ideas. You will feel his pain as did millions who watched it on "America's Funniest Videos." My bride and groom did not win the $10,000 prize money for the night, but all future grooms know not to try this stunt at home or in the reception hall.
Will your wedding be featured in a Brad Paisley music video?
Again, it is unlikely that your wedding video will be used in a Brad Paisley music video, but you never know. One night I was sitting at home when my phone read "Los Angeles, California." It was Brad Paisley's video producer.
Brad was featuring Ohio Valley home video segments in his new music video. He wanted to use one of my brides and grooms that was friends with his father. So in the "Today" music video is featured one of my past brides and grooms. (Jason Tuttle has on the cowboy hat with his bride, Jaci.) (at the 2:18 mark of video.)
Will your wedding reception introduction ever be seen on "Best in Bridal" on A & E's "FYI" network?
I got a call from a producer for the show "Best in Brides," a show on A&E's FYI network. She saw the choreographed wedding reception introduction at Jennifer and Michael Edwards wedding.
Not only was the introduction featured on the show, but to date more than 200,000 people have viewed it on youtube!
